Here’s a glimpse into one of my November days! As often is the case with my photo an hour posts, it was the last day of the month that I could feasibly take a photo an hour… Because I managed to forget until the last week, oops! I managed it none-the-less, so here it is.
Hello lovelies! In a watch-me-forever-play-catch-up-with-myself charade, here are my photos from Kate Gabrielle’s #brilliantphotoaday for March. Whoop! I’m definitely struggling with April (my ability to take a photo on the day of the theme has gone completely out of the window since being on the canal boat!) but I’m also still really enjoying it.
To see photos from the other lovely folks doing the project, visit Instagram and search for #brilliantphotoaday. They’re well-worth a look if you’re so inclined!
As promised yesterday, here are my photos from Kate Gabrielle’s #brilliantphotoaday for February. Right at the end of the month, I broke off a couple of themes from my other daily photo project because hey, what’s one more photo a day when you’re already doing two?!
I’m currently sitting at my desk getting distracted by the world outside – today is one of those grey days that starts to improve when the sun begins to fade and the fairy lights start twinkling in trees and windows. I struggle to feel cheerful in the winter sometimes, but it’s always best to focus on the happy things – excited children skipping down the road, hearing a squeaky cat yawn (as B has made his bed behind my desk, there’s plenty of those today), watching beautiful videos, fresh coffee in a winter Moomin mug, wrapping gifts for the people I love, listening to (deliciously cheerful and danceable!) new music and of course, those tiny lights that wink in the darkness.
Today is the day that I get to say – “it’s less than two weeks until Christmas!” – I feel like I can start to get really excited, now. This past week I’ve enjoyed getting our fairy lights out of storage, and digging about in various boxes to find decorations and such. Not to mention wrapping presents and writing cards. Anyway, shall we let the photos speak for themselves? Do let’s!
Things are finally starting to wind down for me – I have one shift and one reflection day this week, I’m back at university next week, and then it’s Christmas! I will of course be spending a lot of time revising for a big exam and starting an essay, but it will be the beginning of Christmas, none-the-less!
Good evening chums! I’m feeling pretty happy today – I’m doing my November photo an hour post (oops, left it until the penultimate day of the month!) and have had a pretty productive day thus far. I actually have dinner in the oven already (a slow cook casserole which I have big hopes and dreams for…) which is not a usual occurrence for me!
Anyway, here are the weeks photos from last week – the 19th to the 25th. Enjoy!
