This week Arthur threw up in my mouth and on a separate occasion I caught his sick in my hands. We’re weaning at the moment which means I sometimes have banana in my hair, or I find stray bits of avocado in usual places. Most days we both go through several outfit changes (I won’t mention the other bodily fluids, most people have heard all about nappy blow-outs). On Thursday he accidentally scratched my eye, which eventually led to a visit to the GP for antibiotics.*
Here’s a glimpse into one of my November days! As often is the case with my photo an hour posts, it was the last day of the month that I could feasibly take a photo an hour… Because I managed to forget until the last week, oops! I managed it none-the-less, so here it is.
Now that we’re well and truly in the third trimester (and in actual fact are nearing our due date fairly rapidly!), I thought I better get the post I promised about the third trimester online before we find ourselves busy with the arrival of our baby!
When I took my rather lengthy break from blogging earlier this year, I also ceased my photo an hour projects. I attempted a photo an hour at Caroline & Nori’s wedding, realised how difficult that was to achieve in the first trimester and decided to be kind to myself! When our “secret” wedding rolled around in September, I decided to do a low-key photo an hour to help me remember bits of the day that our wonderful photographer Sassy, wasn’t around for. Here goes…
We found out that we were expecting on Easter Sunday. We took one test in the morning, which we didn’t quite believe, and so took another in the evening (after having spent a lovely but lengthy day with family!). That was the time we started to let the happiness, surprise, confusion, disbelief and glee wash over us. Finding out you’re growing a tiny, little human, is such an overwhelming feeling!
As you may have noticed, I took a long and luxurious break from posting – the reason for which has been that we have been busying ourselves with the most wonderful and exciting secret. Of course, for some of you this won’t be a surprise as we’ve been sprinkling our news little by little over the past few weeks and months…
