Why hello Friday, lovely Friday! I’m feeling good to be out of lectures bright and early today – it means I can make an early start on an assignment, get a bit of tidying done and get this post online before the sun goes down… And even better yet, as Jack’s working from home today I get to sit next to him and have a natter while we work!
This post features photos from the 5th of November through to the 11th of November, starting with the LAN party and ending on a fundraising night out with Jack and some of the ladies at university! Here goes…
I’m feeling all sorts of calm and content today, no doubt owing to the fact that I’ve had three days off of placement in a row (a rarity!) which I’ve spent being productive, as well as spending quality time with Jack and Laurence. It all adds up to make a pretty happy me!
August has been a whirlwind month, for sure. Like I said yesterday, this week of photos (20th – 26th August) seems like forever ago! Beer tasting, bicycle rides, board games, Vsixtea (hoho!), DIYs a’plenty, trying out new recipes, seeing Avalon for sushi, a night at Beer and Buns, fussing Bongo, afternoon tea, hospital visits, hot weather, cooking a peri peri chicken feast for Jack, Bags and myself, and of course, plenty of gaming. Phew.
After a fun-filled day (I got to meet Jenn for the first time, after being friends on the internet for over a decade!!) I’ve just gotten home, fed the kitties and put some pasta on the hob. Before I relax into the evening, I’m going to throw up my non-selfies from last week for you guys to gander at. Here goes…
As I’m progressively nearing the end of my current placement, I feel more and more aware (and wary!) of finishing my first year at university. Despite there being a few months to go, lots of paperwork, essays and examinations between now and then, it really isn’t too much longer until I’ll be a second year… And the whole concept of that makes my mind spin!
