Hello lovelies! I’ve made the decision to have a bit of a pause, as I’m well and truly struggling to keep up with placement, written work, photography, blog posts and life in general, at the moment. I’m not sure how long I’ll be taking a break for, right now, but I’m sure I’ll have a lot to share when I return – I’ve yet to post pictures from Paul and Louise’s wedding, as well as Caroline and Nori’s wedding!
Normal programming soon to return (well, ish) but in the meantime I thought I’d finish off the 50 questions I’ve been posting in dribs and drabs for a while now… Here is part 5 of the 50 questions I’ve borrowed from Mariell… Part 1 is here, part 2 is here, part 3 is here and part 4 is here.
Hello lovelies! My PC has been feeling under the weather since we returned from Rob and Lauren’s on Sunday (a little knock during traveling, no doubt). When I realised it was going to take a little longer to get things fixed, I decided I’d try to post a little more regularly over on Instagram – so pop there if you feel like you’re missing out! Posts here and on Flickr will be pausing until it’s sorted, which is probably just as well, as I have an exam on Friday I should be revising for…
One of the biggest and best decisions in my life to date, is my decision to go into care work. This decision has led me to pursue a career in midwifery and all the experiences I’ve had have taught me the value of respect, dignity, kindness and trust. It has been a big struggle to get to grips with the skills and abilities that go hand-in-hand with caring for people, but it has been a wonderful journey to go through. I would be lying if I said that I’ve enjoyed every second of it, but I’m telling the complete truth when I say that I am so, so pleased that I made the decision to begin my journey in healthcare.
