52 weeks of Arthur – week 14

I have been taking a daily self-portrait for over 10 years now, so when our son Arthur was born it felt natural to start taking a daily photo of him too! I’m picking one photo from each week to share here on my blog.

This was the week that our kitchen sink decided to play silly buggers… It overflowed when I had left the washing machine running whilst upstairs, and when Arthur and I made it downstairs to have breakfast, half of our kitchen was flooded. Simultaneously, our bathroom was having a bunch of problems too. Hurray! In a way, it was a good thing because it finally prompted us to buy our new, shiny kitchen sink which is marvellous (the old sink made us cranky on a daily basis).

We also celebrated mother’s day, obviously it being my first one as a mum (so weird!) at one of our favourite restaurants – The Bell in Horndon and went along to our first parent and baby cinema screening, which was enjoyed by both of us (Arthur was transfixed, unsurprisingly!).

Here’s the whole project so far, on Flickr. (Not all of the photos are public – I’ve kept some friends and family only, so if you can’t see them, are a friend or family member and want to, message me!).
