Link Round-Up

♥ I received an e-mail from Kickstarter this week, announcing that over 100 Kickstarter-funded games are now on sale on Steam! Have a gander here…

♥ The Max Wanger desktops on DesignLoveFest this week are simply gorgeous.

“Gigil” sounds like the best word ever, and so it goes hand-in-hand with Yasmine’s lovely comics over at Cat Vs Human!

Strawberry and Basil Scones?! And Strawberry Butter?! Wowee!

♥ Ever wondered what Instagrams would like illustrated? Instamissimo has got it covered.

♥ Emily’s new work “I Saw Her In The Library” is really beautiful. Also, I really like the idea of a series with “two solitary girls, lots of books, and a siamese cat”!

♥ Arthur Chu wrote “Your Princess Is In Another Castle: Misogyny, Entitlement, and Nerds” at the end of May, and then just last week “Who Died and Made You Khaleesi? Privilege, White Saviors, and the Elusive Male Feminist Who Doesn’t Suck“. Both are very insightful reads, and as a female gamer I’m pleased to hear the themes addressed. Hear, hear!

♥ I’m loving the bright colours and cute patterns of these nail stickers that Kaylah posted about this week. They’re by Museum Nails.

I’m please to report that this last week has been pretty grand. I got to go for a lovely walk with Steve and Mike, see Rob and Lauren (and visit Bluewater with them), spend some time with Anna, Lisa and Paul, meet up for breakfast with Charlotte, play at my first barn dance in about a year, go to morris on Friday night… And most importantly, spend some time getting my life in order and relaxing. Phew. Hope you’ve had a lovely week too!
