Seaside Stroll.

At some point in 2016, I made a deal with myself that I would leave the house every day. It helps keep me sane, even if I just walk 10 minutes down the road to buy groceries and then walk back again. It’s a good deal, and I’m pretty glad that I made it.

On Monday, I was feeling a tinge of blue creeping up on me, so I decided to walk to the seafront and marvel at the beauty that we’re lucky to live so close to. It’s the perfect cure for a touch of glumness.

I put my headphones in my ears and watched the seagulls soar about in the sky. It was relaxing and soothing to take it all in, and ignore the people and cars behind me.

When I got home my shoes were completely coated in sand, and I didn’t notice until I went to take them off.

Oh, and my mood was definitely a lot lighter.
