The super-awesome Alexander Franzen posted this wonderful list of things that she’d done in the past 30 days. I think it’s a great idea and a good way to re-live the best bits of the month: here’s mine!
This January, I…
♥ Supported one my favourite charities by waitressing at their annual Burns’ Night celebrations. I also helped dry-up, pester people to buy raffle tickets, folded the tickets, counted the raffle money, donated two prizes and helped pack-up at the end of the night.
♥ Started a fabulous new photography project with the lovely Debs. It’s called photo tennis and it’s like playing tennis with photos. I’m going to dedicate an entry to the first month of photos soon, so stay tuned!
♥ Took some time out to be alone and spend time with myself. Sometimes I forget that I need to spend time alone to stay sane. It was time well-spent!
♥ Set-up a Facebook account for my photographic work.
♥ Spent some well overdue quality time with my best friend. I’m extremely thankful to have such a strong, kind and sweet friend, and I love her to bits and pieces.
♥ Became an admin for one of my favourite groups on Flickr: The Teleidoscope.
♥ Took some self-portraits out of my comfort zone. In a supermarket (all the people, everywhere!) and in a public place without anyone there with me (I fret somewhat about taking photographs on my own).
♥ Attended a Fire Marshall Training course for work.
