Sunday Loveliness

I’ve been spending a relaxing Sunday morning tidying the house and bumbling about on the internet. I thought I’d share some of the lovely things I’ve found! It’s a mixture of art, photography, music and other bits and bobs.

♥ I saw Show of Hands at The Orchard in Dartford last week (they were amazing!) and I’ve been spending some quality time looking up various videos of them on YouTube. Here is Arrogance, Ignorance and Greed (AIG). Their new album “Wake the Union” is 110% amazing, and as usual, the majority of the album comprises my ‘favourite’ track. The above photo was taken at Fairport’s Cropredy Convention 2007. Lovelovelove!

♥ Moosekleenex is a fantastic art blog by Kelly Bastow. I adore this – Things That Automatically Brighten My Day! She has an Etsy shop too.

♥ If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll already know that I adore all of Liselotte Eriksson’s art, especially her cats. These dancing kitties are too cute, and her 2013 cat calendars are gorgeous!

♥ The fabulous Phlearn posts a weekend inspiration entry every week, showcasing wonderful photography. Thanks to this, I’ve found the work of Todd McLellan and it is beautiful – see the photo below!

♥ Kate of Scathingly Brilliant is doing an adorable giveaway for her birthday – everyone should enter!

♥ One of my favourite blogs is the wonderful Weekday Carnival. The latest post, White Boxes, features lots of white walls and furniture, with lots bright colours and is right up my street! It reminds me of Color Me Katie who is an amazing street artist/photographer.

♥ A couple of weeks ago, Carrie of WishWishWish interviewed the one and only Tim Walker about his new book “Storyteller”. Tim Walker is one of my favourite modern photographers and so I was really interested to hear what he had to say: the interview is great, and as always, his work is truly inspirational. Check out the interview here!

Hope you’re having a lovely weekend whatever you’re doing!
