Things I Love Thursday #74

♥ Staying at Dave’s! Whilst working! It’s weird because I’m doing night shifts this week, but it’s really nice to have a bit of a routine together – I’ve been waking up around 3pm and pottering about until he gets home, and then we have dinner together and take photos/watch videos/play music before I leave to go to work. Yay for togetherness!

♥ Finally getting the internet working at work! It sounds a bit pathetic, but doing a 12 hour night shift with only a book and knitting to keep me company is the quickest way to send me to sleep (which obviously isn’t allowed). Yay for the internet!

♥ My new flask from IKEA, which is keeping my coffee happy and hot. Not to mention the new lunchboxes I bought (my first night shift saw me eat crisps, chocolate, biscuits, fizzy drinks… My second night shift saw me come prepared with salad!). Yay for IKEA!

♥ Broken Age (!!) which I haven’t had enough time to completely devour, but I really enjoyed playing through as Vela (which I happily completed on Monday night) and am enjoying working my way through as Shay. I can’t wait to see how the next Act plays! Yay for Broken Age!

♥ The Chepstow Mari Lwyd Wassail, which I went to with the company of the Nottingham Owd Oss. It was great fun! We put toast in trees, drank wassail, sang songs and paraded about with horse skulls… Yay for weird folk customs!

Things I Love Thursday is an idea created by the inimitable Gala Darling. In 2007 she began creating a list every Thursday, sharing links, people and experiences that she had fallen in love with that week. All over the internet people the idea was passed around: everyone loved the concept of celebrating appreciation and thankfulness together and began creating their own lists… This is mine!

Do you write a Things I Love Thursday or gratitude list? If not, what would you write on it this week? If so, please share it with me!
